Kathryn C. Wheat founded the Kathryn C. Wheat School of Real Estate in May 2014. Our business model provides free CE classes to Realtors by partnering with Builders and Developers who sponsor the classes. This is a win-win for all involved! Kathryn started the school with the idea of getting only one Networking class approved. However, over the last several years the School has experienced tremendous growth. Our first year we taught about 10 classes. Kathryn C. Wheat School of Real Estate currently offers 31 captivating classes in the Houston area , with 10 top notch Instructors and is currently expanding into the Dallas market which has 10 classes available and 3 Instructors. We also have 25 Classes that are both In-Person and Virtual and 7 Virtual Only Classes for all markets.

Meet the Team

Lynne McCarthy - Instructor

Lynne has been in Real Estate for 46 years. She has been licensed in 4 states: California, Florida, Georgia and Texas. Currently she is teaching a number of different classes for Kathryn C. Wheat School of Real Estate, and sells Real Estate for Engel & Völkers Katy. Also, a member of the Women's Council of Real Estate, Fort Bend, she was the Program Director for 2019 & 2020 and Treasurer 2021, Chair State Audit Committee 2022 & Chair Person for Houston Real Estate Commitees 2022. She currently lives in Richmond and has 2 grown children, 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grand children.

Kathryn Crawford Wheat is a Professional Speaker, Consultant, Blogger and Author of the book, Networking: Naked & Unafraid.

In 2010 Kathryn launched her own website, Woman’s InSite. In 2013 Kathryn became a Professional Speaker. Then in 2014 she established Kathryn C. Wheat School of Real Estate. Most recently, Kathryn published her book, Networking: Naked & Unafraid.

Some of the best things about Kathryn include her faith, courage, and fierce loyalty. She is grateful, joyful, empathetic, determined, motivated, observant, a little foolish and sometimes a bit crazy!
